New Office Needs
Creative Office Design had supplied La Terra’s previous office with Friant Novo cubicles a few years before the move. Not wanting to waste perfectly good furniture, it was determined that the old office equipment would move to the new office to be supplemented with newer equipment.
The new office was both much larger and differently laid out than the old building and would need to accommodate far more employees. A new design scheme would be required to integrate the old and new furniture and to create a more efficient layout.
As the company prepared for the transition, the Creative design team began their own prep work: reviewing the building blueprints and surveying the office to get measurements and map out access and power points. The design would allow for better flow of traffic, collaborative spaces, and modular wings where different departments could expand and contract as needed.
Friant Novo Series
In order to create continuity with the existing furniture, Friant’s Novo series of cubicles was chosen for the new furniture order. Beyond simple design consistency, the Novo series presents significant advantages for office managers and employees alike.

Installation
With the furniture options selected and the design in place, the installation team went to work. On the selected move-in date, the team set up each department’s cubicles and seating arrangements, connected power and data, and ensured that every employee’s station was ready for use. Once operations were underway, the management team marveled at the new design’s efficiency, noting a clear increase in productivity thanks to the improved layout.
